: Aim and meanings
聖書の中でライオンは、いろいろな意味のシンボルとして扱われています。
悪が吠えたける恐ろしさ、獰猛さの象徴にも使われますが、一方王の象徴、ユダ族から出る王の王、キリストの象徴としても表現されます。
Lions are expressed as the various type of meanings in Bible.
Sometime it’s compared with the horrible roaring evil one, symbol of fierceness of evils, on the other hands it’s expressed as the symbol of the king of kings coming from the genealogy of Judah tribe, Jesus Christ.

現在、この支援プロジェクトの地域を含む英語圏のカメルーンの人々は、住み慣れた地が戦場になり、政府、独立派武装勢力双方から迫害、暴力、拷問を受け、苦しみを受けています。この混乱状態は長く続き、出口が見えません。
Now, the anglophone Cameroonians including our project beneficiaries are suffering, their resident areas are became the battle field of government military and resistances military in the civil war, people are oppressed or persecuted or tortured by both groups. They still can’t find the way out.

ひとつ言えることは、
「わたしたちの戦いは、血肉に対するものではなく、もろもろの支配と、権威と、やみの世の主権者、また天上にいる悪の霊に対する戦いである。」
(エペソ人への手紙 6:12)、つまり世界に点在する人間のトラブルの背後に、地上天上すべてを戦場とした、神と悪、光と闇の大きな規模の支配権の戦いがある、ということです。
　この戦いの勝者はすでに決まっています。
「泣くな。見よ、ユダ族のしし、ダビデの若枝であるかたが、勝利を得た」。(ヨハネの黙示録 5:5の一部)
One thing Bible saying is,
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12‬ ‭NIV‬‬)
So, there is the battle - a larger scale authority battle between the light and darkness, God and Devil on the earth and the heaven, behind the scenes of each world issues and troubles.
But we know who won and will win.
“Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed.”
(A part of ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭5:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

カメルーン北西部を含め、あらゆる場所の迫害されている人、苦境にある人の希望を祈りつつ、悪の猛攻の上にある王の勝利を示す黙示録の一節、敵さえその王であり獅子である神の力強さを称賛した民数記の一節、
王の王であるキリストの印象を宿したライオン(黙示録19章11-16節、21章23節の印象より)をモチーフにしました。
With praying for all who being distressed in the every kind of persecutions or oppressions in everywhere, including the people in Northwest region of Cameroon, we made the cotton bag with quoting the first scripture from Revelation, about the victory of the true king overcoming the rampant evils, second scripture from Numbers, that even enemies praised the mighty power of God, who is the lion - true king of kings, the Lord of lords,
and with drawing the Lion from the impression of Christ from Revelation 19:11-16 and 21:23.

また、「不屈のライオン」はカメルーンのスポーツ代表チームの異名でもあり、カメルーン 全体の動乱からのワンチームとしての復活を願ってもいます。
In addition “Indomitable Lion” is the nickname of Cameroon national team of some sports, we wish them to stand again from the current sociopolitical crisis, as “one team”.

So far we trying it as a trial, so all price amount (2,000JPY/ about 20USD) will go to the cooperative in Cameroon for supporting some projects aiming to develop the farmers life situation.
Now I(the coordinator in Japan) am ignoring the all costs and will send the money all you paid, But when the products in this term are sold out and the next phase comes, the costs amount may be taken off from the sending amount for the cooperative. Then we’ll modify the donation details information.
